Supplier orders New

Know what came in, and what didn't.

Order with your Boxwitness email address, or forward your supplier emails to it, and Boxwitness tracks every package to your door. When it arrives, show its label to the station: it prints the labels, films the unboxing and can put the stock straight into Shopify.

How receiving works

From the supplier's email to your shelf.

  1. Send in the emails

Order with your store's own Boxwitness address, or forward your suppliers' emails to it. AI reads the items, the supplier's order number and the tracking numbers. How

  2. Track the packages

Each package is tracked until it's delivered, and “delivered, not unboxed yet” shows up in the app.

  3. Map what's coming

Each incoming item goes to the customer orders waiting for it, or to stock. Boxwitness maps by SKU and product name and remembers your choices.

  4. Unbox it on camera

Show the package's label: the station recognises it, prints the labels and films the unboxing. Damaged items are marked.

Supplier emails

Two ways to send them in.

Each store gets its own Boxwitness email address, with a name you choose. Use whichever suits the way you order.

Order with your Boxwitness address

Give it to your suppliers as your email when you order. Order confirmations, invoices and shipping notices go straight to Boxwitness.

Turn on a copy to your own inbox and you still see every email, from “Supplier via Boxwitness”. Replies go to the supplier.

Keep your address and forward

Keep ordering with your usual email and forward your suppliers' emails to your Boxwitness address automatically. In Gmail, add it as a forwarding address (the confirmation code shows up in Boxwitness), then a filter for your suppliers. In Outlook, a forwarding rule.

Or forward an email by hand whenever you like.

Receiving, done properly

Every unit accounted for.

Paste or upload, too

No email to forward? Paste one into the app, or upload a PDF, a photo or a CSV. It's read the same way.

Labels that follow the item

Items going to a customer order get a per-order QR label; stock gets product labels. When the customer's order is packed, the labelled items are checked by their labels.

Partial deliveries

The station counts what's really in the box and labels only that. The rest stays “still to come” and can arrive in a box of its own, announced or not.

If the rest never comes, close the order and what never arrived is noted.

Straight into Shopify stock

Turn it on and received units go into Shopify stock as they're counted, with the cost per item.

Proof of receiving

Every package gets a Proof of receiving PDF, ready for a claim with your supplier over a short or damaged delivery.

Doesn't use up your boxes

Supplier deliveries don't count towards your plan's monthly boxes. Only boxes packed and returns inspected do.

Proof of every box, from your next one.
